Which One to Choose?

Choose Sine Wave for: Smoother operation, quieter ride, maximum efficiency & range, better low-speed control, reduced motor/controller heat, higher performance applications. (Common in higher-end e-bikes, scooters, EVs, industrial applications).

Choose Square Wave for: Lower cost, simplicity, applications where noise and slight roughness aren't critical, or where sensorless operation is desired/required. (Common in budget e-bikes, scooters, basic industrial tools).
In essence, sine wave controllers offer superior refinement, efficiency, and performance but at a higher cost. Square wave controllers are a simpler, more budget-friendly solution but sacrifice smoothness, quietness, and some efficiency.
